Are you passionate about animal care and looking to make a difference in the lives of animals?
Our busy dog shelter is seeking a reliable kennel attendant to help care for the dogs in our facility!

The Role:
As a kennel attendant, you'll play a vital rol in maintaining a clean, safe and and compassionate environment for our dogs while they wait for their forever homes. 

Responsibilities:
Feed and provide fresh water according to schedules
Clean and sanitize kennels, runs and common areas
Monitor dogs for signs of illness, stress, or behavioral changes
Provide enrichment by walking, exercising and socializing dogs
Support adoption and fundraising events, and daily operations
Provide excellent care and compassion to every animal

Qualifications:
Genuine love for animals.
Ability to handle dogs of various sizes
Compfortable with cleaning tasks and physical labor
Willingness to learn
Dependable, punctual and a team player

What we offer:
Rewarding work helping dogs find loving homes
Supportive and friendly team environment
Hands on animal care and handling experience

Schedule: Part Time (weekend and holidays may be required)
Location: 500 S. Logan St. Oneill, Ne
Pay: $15 per hour

The Mission of the Holt County Animal Shelter is to foster a healthy companionship between Humans and animals, to help enhance appreciation of animals, prevent their abuse, and underscore their intrinsic value.

The Holt County Animal Shelter is a private, non-profit organization. We are funded entirely by private donations from our community.

Mission Statement

In 2006 a group of concerned citizens came together to form Holt County Humane Society The mission then, and now is the same.

We are here to foster healthy companionship  between animals and humans. Through education and example we promote the appreciation of animals, and prevent the abuse and neglect.
