Meet Freya! Freya is a young, fun dog who is great with kids, dogs, and cats. She knows some basic commands, loves toys, chewies, treats, and walks. She is a happy go lucky dog looking for a home who has love to give. Freya is a smaller dog, weighing in at 35 pounds. She will make a wonderful forever dog!! She is fully vetted, including microchip!

Holt County Animal Shelter

The Mission of the Holt County Animal Shelter is to foster a healthy companionship between Humans and animals, to help enhance appreciation of animals, prevent their abuse, and underscore their intrinsic value.

The Holt County Animal Shelter is a private, non-profit organization. We are funded entirely by private donations from our community.

Mission Statement

In 2006 a group of concerned citizens came together to form Holt County Humane Society The mission then, and now is the same.

We are here to foster healthy companionship  between animals and humans. Through education and example we promote the appreciation of animals, and prevent the abuse and neglect.
